Bus catches fire in Dholaipar area

A passenger bus caught fire in the capital's Dholaipar area. The incident took place around 6:30 pm on Wednesday.

Upon receiving the information, two units of the Fire Service's Postogola station quickly reached the spot and brought the fire under control. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

Fire Service's Central Control Room Duty Officer Rozina Akhter said that fire service personnel rushed to the spot after receiving the information about a bus catching fire in Dholaipar at 6:36 pm. She also said that it was not initially known how the fire started in the bus.
