CEC urges journos to expose real picture of polling centers

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal voted at Habibullah Bahar University College center in the capital this morning, expressing his hope that peaceful voting will be held across the country.

"Every five years, national election comes. We complete the election process with coordinated efforts of all," CEC told newsmen after exercising his franchise around 8.30 am.

The CEC urged the journalists to expose the picture of polling centers with transparency.

In response to the journalist's question about voter turnout, Kazi Habibul Awal said, "I don't know anything about voter turnout. I just came and cast my vote now. If there is any problem, I will fix it."

"The election officials and law enforcers are working actively to hold a free and fair national election," he added.
