Chawk Bazar fire brought under control

Firefighters have brought under control a blaze that erupted Monday afternoon (December 1) on the top floor of a three-storey residential building in Dhaka’s Chawk Bazar area.

Seven Fire Service units worked extensively to successfully bring the blaze under control by 6:00pm.

Fire Service Media Officer Anwarul Islam confirmed this, adding that the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have not yet been determined.
