Choreographer Rico wants to take dance to a different level

Choreographer Rico has paved his own path with his love for dance. He was born and raised in the Badda area of ​​the capital Dhaka. He has been interested in dance since childhood, and his journey started from that interest. He stepped into this world after being inspired by watching his older brothers dance without any formal teacher. His three older brothers are also involved in dance, which has given him more encouragement.

Rico's first big job in his professional career was with Shakib Khan, the top hero of Dhaka cinema. After that, he worked in the corporate world for some time, but finally settled on dance as his love. He started his regular journey as a choreographer since 2015.

In the meantime, popular stars of the country have worked on his choreography, including film actress Apu Biswas. He has experience working in dance direction outside the country and in the international arena. He dreams of taking dance to a different level in the future and representing Bangladesh on the international stage.

Rico's message to the newcomers is that patience, time and dedication are the most important things to survive in this arena. According to him, many new artists lack patience. It is not enough to have talent alone, you have to work hard in every sector to move forward.

Rico's roots are in Purbadhala, Netrokona district, Mymensingh division. He is not behind in his studies either; he has completed his honors and masters. This choreographer wants to see himself at the top with dreams, hard work and love for dance.
