On Monday night, Universal released the first teaser for Christopher Nolan's much-awaited film 'The Odyssey', based on Homer's epic poem.
In the trailer, Odysseus is sometimes seen walking on land, sometimes sailing on the sea, and sometimes moving through a dark cave - in one of the caves, a gaint and terrifying creature appears from the shadows.
The central character of this film is the Greek hero Odysseus, played by Matt Damon. The main story of the film is the struggle to return to his homeland after the Trojan War on a long and difficult road. Universal released the first look at Damon's character in February of this year.
The film also stars Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong'o, Charlize Theron, Mia Goth, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal, John Leguizamo, and many others. Nolan wrote the screenplay and co-produced with his wife Emma Thomas.
