Curtain falls on popular TV series ‘Eta Amaderi Golpo’
Popular television drama series “Eta Amaderi Golpo” has officially reached its conclusion, with the production team confirming the completion of its final shoot at a studio house in the capital's Uttara.
Although 46 episodes have already aired, the series wrapped up filming with its 52nd and final episode.
A press conference was held on the occasion, attended by director Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, who said the series was built around contemporary social relationships, emotional conflicts, love, and everyday realities. He noted that the positive audience response from the very beginning encouraged the team to maintain consistent quality throughout its run.
The event also saw the presence of cast members Irfan Sajjad, Khairul Bashar, Keya Payel, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Monira Mithu, Dikon Noor, Mukit Zakaria, Sneha, Nader Chowdhury, MNU Raju, and Ishrat Jahan Otithi.
Popular singer Arfin Rumey and Dola also joined the programme.
Speaking at the event, the cast described “Eta Amaderi Golpo” not just as a drama, but as an emotional journey. They shared that working together for an extended period created a family-like bond among the team. The realistic storytelling approach, they added, helped viewers relate the narrative to their own lives.
Since its launch, the series gained strong popularity for its family-oriented themes, relationship complexities, and simple yet impactful portrayal of everyday moments. Various scenes and dialogues from the drama also sparked widespread discussion on social media.
The director hinted that the final episode will deliver an emotional yet satisfying conclusion for viewers. He expressed hope that, like the overall journey, the ending will leave a lasting impression on the audience.
