Quinton de Kock has reversed his decision of retirement from white ball cricket to rejoin South Africa’s squad for next month’s T20 and ODI series against Pakistan, Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirmed.

The 32-year-old wicketkeeper-batter retired from international cricket after the 2024 T20 World Cup final in Barbados. He had earlier quit Tests in 2021 and ODIs after the 2023 World Cup, where his four centuries helped the Proteas reach the semifinals.

De Kock played 155 ODIs, 92 T20Is, and 54 Tests for South Africa, while remaining active in franchise leagues including SA20, IPL, MLC, and CPL.
