The death toll from an explosion and gun attack at a police headquarters in northern Pakistan rose to at least 31, including 16 police personnel, a senior police official told AFP on Saturday. পাকিস্তানের উত্তরাঞ্চলে পুলিশ সদর দপ্তরে বোমা ও বন্দুক হামলায় নিহতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে অন্তত ৩১ জনে। নিহতদের মধ্যে অন্তত ১৬ জন পুলিশ সদস্য রয়েছেন। শনিবার (১৯ সেপ্টেম্বর) বার্তা সংস্থা এএফপিকে এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন দেশটির এক ঊর্ধ্বতন পুলিশ কর্মকর্তা। ওই জ্যেষ্ঠ কর্মকর্তা জানান, হামলাকারীদের আত্মঘাতী বোমা ও বন্দুক হামলায় এখন পর্যন্ত ১৬ জন পুলিশ সদস্যসহ অন্তত ৩১ জন নিহত হয়েছেন এবং আহত হয়েছেন ১০০ জনেরও বেশি মানুষ। তিনি আরও জানান, দুর্ঘটনাস্থলে এখনও সংঘর্ষ অব্যাহত রয়েছে।
