Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has given a stern warning that Delhi’s map and geography will change. He said that if India takes any bold steps against Pakistan in the future, then Delhi’s map and geography may change and India will risk becoming a part of history.

Khawaja Asif gave this warning on the ‘Capital Talk’ programme of Pakistani media Geo News.

The Pakistani Defense Minister said that in response to India’s military operation, Pakistan launched a major counter-operation called ‘Operation Bunyan-um-Marsus’. Pakistan claims that in addition to attacking multiple Indian military installations in that operation, eight warplanes—including Rafales—and several drones were shot down. However, independent or international verification of these claims has not yet been made public.

After about 87 hours of conflict, a ceasefire between the two nuclear-armed countries came into effect on May 10, mediated by the United States, he said.

Khawaja Asif said that India is now facing an "embarrassing situation" in the international arena due to the recent conflict. He commented that India's previously influential relations with Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka have also weakened. At the same time, the country's defense minister claimed that Pakistan has created a "respectable position" in the region.

Khawaja Asif also spoke about India-Israel relations at the event. According to him, the strategic goals and interests of the two countries may coincide.
