Dhaka Capitals Assistant Coach Mahbub Ali Zaki passes away

Dhaka Capitals assistant coach Mahbub Ali Zaki passed away on Saturday after suffering a heart attack during a pre-match practice session ahead of their BPL clash against Rajshahi Royals.

BCB team doctor Dr. Debashish Chowdhury confirmed that Zaki fell down while conducting a warm-up with players before the match. He was given CPR on the field and taken to the hospital but died en route.

Zaki, a former Bangladesh national team pacer, had coached domestic teams, national players, and was part of the U-19 World Cup-winning coaching panel.
