Dhaka concert featuring James–Ali Azmat postponed

The highly anticipated concert “Legends Live in Dhaka”, featuring Bangladesh rock star James and Ali Azmat, vocalist of Pakistan’s Sufi–rock band Junoon, has been postponed.

Organisers cited the lack of necessary local government approval as the reason for the delay.

ASSEN Communication, the event organiser, announced the postponement via an urgent notice on their social media page, stating: “Due to unavoidable circumstances, today’s show ‘Ali Azmat x James – Legends Live in Dhaka’ has been temporarily postponed.”

The organisers confirmed that they are working to reschedule the concert at the earliest possible date.

Ticket holders, sponsors, and stall owners have been thanked for their patience.

The new date and venue will be announced soon. Tickets already purchased will be valid for the rescheduled show, or holders can opt for a refund.

In addition to James and Ali Azmat, the concert was to feature young artists Poonam and Madhubanti Chakraborty, but all preparations are now temporarily on hold.
