Dithi Anwar releases new song 'Robithakur'

Singer and presenter Dithi Anwar has released a new original song titled 'Robithakur' on her official YouTube channel. The song was released on Sunday evening, June 21.

The lyrics are written by the late renowned lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar. Dithi Anwar said it is one of the songs written by her father in the final phase of his life, and she considers it a special opportunity to have sung it.

The song has received a positive response from listeners, she said. She also thanked composer and music director Apu Aman for the composition and arrangement.

Apu Aman said he is working on a special project featuring five songs written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar, which are being released gradually. He said gaining the trust of both the lyricist and Dithi Anwar is an honour, and he was deeply moved by the depth of the lyrics.

Earlier, two other original songs by Dithi Anwar, 'Meghla Akash' and 'Jonmer Por', also written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar, were released on her YouTube channel.
