DU students place stickers featuring Pakistani flag at DUCSU building, 3 hall entrances

Students of Dhaka University (DU) have placed stickers featuring the Pakistani flag at the foot of the DU Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) building and entrances of three halls to express strong resentment against Pakistan and Razakars during the Victory Month.

The stickers carry slogans such as “No Compromise with Razakars” and “Beat the Razakar on Both Cheeks with Your Shoes”.

According to campus sources, the initiative began on Sunday (December 7) at Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall, Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall, and Bijoy Ekattor Hall.

Karib Chowdhury, member of the Hall Unit Organizing Committee of Chhatra Dal, led the sticker placement at Ziaur Rahman Hall.

He told the media on Monday (December 8) that the effort was to honur the sacrifices of those who secured Bangladesh’s independence and to publicly express their strong condemnation of the Pakistani army and Razakars.
