EC directs BTV and Bangladesh Betar to prepare for schedule recording on 10 Dec

The Election Commission (EC) has issued a letter to Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar, instructing them to stay prepared on Wednesday, December 10, for recording the announcement of the schedule for the 13th National Parliamentary Election and the referendum.

The matter was confirmed on Monday, December 8, by the EC’s Senior Secretary, Akhtar Ahmed.

He stated that BTV and Betar have been officially notified to arrange the recording of the Chief Election Commissioner’s address. The recording will take place on December 10, although the specific time will be informed later.

Earlier on Sunday, Election Commissioner Brigadier General (Retd) Abul Fazal Md. Sanaullah had said that the schedule for the 13th National Election would be announced sometime between December 8 and 15.
