EDOTCO Bangladesh, one of the country's leading digital infrastructure service providers, has won the "Most Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Champion of the Year" award at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026, marking its second consecutive year of receiving the international recognition.

The award recognizes edotco Bangladesh's leadership in developing sustainable digital infrastructure, promoting environmentally friendly operations, and adopting responsible business practices in Bangladesh.

According to the company, it has been advancing sustainable digital infrastructure through initiatives such as infrastructure sharing, the use of renewable energy, improved energy efficiency, resource recycling, climate resilience, and community empowerment.

Al-Batuni Mohammad Saeed Ahmed, Country Managing Director of EDOTCO Bangladesh, said the recognition reflects the company's long-term commitment to responsible business practices. He noted that sustainability is not a standalone initiative for the company but an integral part of every stage of its construction, operations, and growth.

He added that by embedding sustainability into its business operations, EDOTCO Bangladesh is working to strengthen the country's digital infrastructure while ensuring long-term benefits for the environment, society, and Bangladesh's digital future.

The company said its initiatives—including Tower to Power, Digital Learning, the Rangers Volunteer Program, and various community empowerment projects—have positively impacted the lives of more than 100,000 people. These efforts also contribute to Bangladesh's sustainable development agenda and the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026 are jointly organized by the Sustainable Brand Initiative and the Bangladesh Brand Forum to recognize organizations that have made significant contributions to advancing the SDGs in Bangladesh.
