Eid congregation schedules published for different venues in Dhaka
Multiple Eid congregations have been arranged at various Eidgahs and mosques across the capital for the holy Eid-ul-Azha. The main congregation at the National Eidgah will be held at 7:30 am. In case of adverse weather, the alternative main congregation will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8:00 am.
The Islamic Foundation announced on Wednesday, May 27, that a total of five congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The timings are: 7:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am and 10:45 am.
Two congregations will be held at Dhaka University Central Mosque at 7:30 am and 8:30 am. Additionally, congregations will be held at Salimullah Muslim Hall Mosque at 7:00 am, Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall lawn at 8:00 am, and the field east of Fazlul Haque Muslim Hall at 8:00 am. An Eid congregation will also be held at the South Plaza of the National Parliament building at 7:30 am.
Three congregations will be held at Gulshan Central Mosque (Azad Mosque). The first congregation will be at 5:45 am, the second at 7:30 am, and the third at 9:30 am. Congregations will also be held at Gulshan Society Jame Mosque at 8:00 am and at Aeroplane Jame Mosque at 7:30 am.
Eid congregations have also been arranged at over a hundred Eidgahs and more than 1,500 mosques across the metropolis.
