Emraan Hashmi's 'Awarapan 2' is maintaining a strong run at the box office, with the sequel now just ₹7.2 crore short of crossing the ₹200 crore mark worldwide on its 10th day.

The film earned an estimated ₹8.75 crore net in India on its second Sunday, taking its domestic net collection to ₹136.25 crore. Its India gross has reached around ₹162.5 crore.

The sequel has also performed steadily overseas, adding another ₹1.5 crore on Day 10. Its overseas gross now stands at ₹30.3 crore, taking the film's worldwide gross collection to approximately ₹192.8 crore.

The film gained momentum over its second weekend after a relatively slower Friday. It collected ₹5.75 crore on Friday before jumping to ₹8.25 crore on Saturday—a rise of about 43.5 percent. With strong weekend business, the film has emerged as one of the better-performing Hindi releases of 2026.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, 'Awarapan 2' is a sequel to the 2007 film 'Awarapan', with Hashmi reprising the emotional appeal that made the original a fan favourite. Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi also feature in the film.

While reviews have been mixed, with some criticism directed at its slow first half, predictable turns and villain, Hashmi's performance has received praise. The sequel's blend of nostalgia, familiar music and a new emotional storyline appears to be driving its theatrical momentum.
