All dues of Beximco to be paid by February: Adviser

All dues of everyone related to Beximco will be paid by February, said Brigadier General (retd) M Sakhawat Hossain, adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

He made this statement at a briefing after the sixth meeting of the committee in this regard at the meeting room of the Ministry of Shipping on Tuesday.

The labour adviser said that the dues of everyone will be paid by selling the mortgaged shares of the two operating companies of the business, Beximco Pharma and Shinepukur Ceramics. If necessary, money will also be taken from the Ministry of Finance. However, the dues will definitely be paid.

Labor Advisor Brigadier Sakhawat also said that the Bangladesh Stock Exchange Commission will sit with the banks next Sunday to decide on the issue of selling shares.
