BPL 2025: Durbar Rajshahi complete 75% payment of local players

Bangladesh Premier League's controversial franchise Durbar Rajshahi have completed 75 percent payment of all their local cricketers on Thursday.

Both the franchise and cricketers confirmed the development on Friday.

In a press release, the franchise informed that their last and final 25 percent of payment will be made by March 8.

"It was the third installment of payment by the franchise and the last quarter of payment of the players will be settled by March 8 as per the guideline of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB)," the press release said.

"We like to thank all our players for showing great patience and support towards us and we are also happy to fulfill our commitments towards them," it added.

Meanwhile, talking to the media, a Rajshahi player also confirmed about them receiving 75 percent payment.

"Yesterday [on Thursday], they completed our 75 percent payment. i think that due to the media reports and the ministry's involvement, we are able to get the amount quickly," the cricketer said on request of anonymity.
