Burning man's last words shattered hundreds of hearts

A heartbreaking video of Benapole Express fire incident has gone viral on social media. The sight of a man burning with a body part sticking out of a window shocked the nation.

Witness said locals tried to rescue the person who was hanging from the window. But he refused to come out saying that his wife and children were burnt.

The window came down on his neck. Locals were trying to get him out by breaking the window, but the man said, "My child and wife are already burnt." I also suffer 90 percent burns. What am I going to do? What's the point of being rescued?'

Meanwhile, most of the part of the compartment was already burnt by that time. The heat was increasing along with the fire. At one time locals who were trying to rescue had to retreat to save their lives.

Later, eight units of the fire service reached the spot and brought the fire under control. But by then, the man and his family died.

The firefighters have recovered four bodies from inside the torched Benapole Express train.

According to witnesses, the train was en route to Dhaka, carrying passengers from Benapole.

Shortly before reaching Kamalapur railway station, miscreants set fire on it in front of the Gopibagh kitchen market, they said.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the authorities concerned to investigate whether the fire incident was sabotage.
