CA to accord reception to SAFF-winning women's team on Saturday

The Bangladesh women's football team has won the SAFF Championship for the second consecutive time. In recognition of their achievement, Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will host a reception for the victorious team on Saturday.

The ceremony will be held at the state guest house, Jamuna, as announced by the Chief Advisor's press office on Thursday.

After clinching the SAFF Championship for the second time, the girls have been praised by many. The Ministry of Youth and Sports has awarded the victorious team a prize of one crore taka.

On Thursday (October 31), Youth and Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan handed over the prize cheque to the players at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) building.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has also announced a financial reward of 20 lakh taka for the SAFF winning team.
