Commercial Bank of Ceylon Chairman to visit Bangladesh

Prof AKW Jayawardane, the Chairman of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC and CBC Tech Solutions, a subsidiary of the Commercial Bank is set to arrive in Bangladesh to visit the valued clients, stakeholders, and staff of the Bank’s local office in Bangladesh. He will be landing in Dhaka on the 2nd February, 2024.

During his stay, he will partake in the celebration of CBC’s 20 years of banking in Bangladesh and emphasize on the Bank's focus on Sustainable Business, Green Banking, and Technology to support the businesses as well as Innovative products & services. Additionally, he will also meet with the organization’s top clients, regulatory body officials and staff.

Joining him on the trip is Sharhan Muhseen, Deputy Chairman of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC. He is a senior Investment Banker with extensive experience in areas of Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets. Also accompanying them is Sanath Manatunge, Global Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at Commercial Bank Of Ceylon PLC who carries over three decades of banking career covering a wide array of experience including Operations, Corporate Banking, Risk, Personal Banking, IT, Cards & Digital Banking.
