Dulal Mahmud honoured with 'Legend of AIPS Asia award'

Mahmud Hossain Khan Dulal, editor of the fortnightly sports magazine Krira Jagat, has been awarded the 'Legend of AIPS Asia Award' in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Six prominent sports journalists from across Asia were honored at the AIPS Asia Congress in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Friday evening for their lifetime contributions to sports. Alongside Khan Dulal, journalists from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, India, and Nepal also received the prestigious award. This marks the second time the award has been presented, with plans to continue recognizing distinguished sports journalists from various countries periodically.

Dulal, former president of the Bangladesh Sports Press Association, received the crest from AIPS Vice-President Ioannis Daras. Sanat Babla, Kazi Shahidul Alam, Samon Hossain, and Sudipta Anand attended the AIPS Asia Congress as representatives of Bangladesh.
