Fair Electronics inaugurates marketing Hisense AC, TV in Bangladesh
Fair Electronics, a prominent player in Bangladesh's consumer electronics industry, has announced its collaboration with Hisense, a globally renowned brand, to manufacture air conditioners (AC) and televisions (TV) in the country.
The electronics goods manufacturer inaugurated the marketing and sales operations of Hisense's AC and TV through a press conference at Fair Electronics Smart Plaza at Gulshan Avenue in the capital on Saturday (March 23), says a press release.
The event was presided over by Fair Group Director Mutassim Daiaan.
Speaking at the event, Daiaan emphasised that this venture marks a significant milestone in Fair Group's journey, adding a new dimension to its progress. “Hisense Corporation's extensive range of consumer electronics products enjoys widespread acclaim worldwide, and the introduction of AC and TV production, marketing, and sales is just the beginning.
Fair Group aims to gradually expand its collaboration with Hisense to include other product lines, contributing further to industrialisation and trade development in Bangladesh,” he said.
Hisense retained its No-2 global ranking for TV shipments in 2023 with a volume of 25.9 million units shipped in the global marketplace according to the 2023 Monthly Report of Global TV Shipment Volume of TV Brands from market research institute AVC Revo. Hisense has been the only brand that has continued to grow in the past six years among the world's top five TV brands.
Highlighting the importance of both economic prosperity and social development, Daiaan stressed the significance of sports promotion for individual well-being and societal advancement.
“Notably, Hisense has been a prominent partner in major sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup 2022 and UEFA EURO 2020, and it continues this tradition by being an official partner of UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany,” he added.
In conjunction with the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024, Fair Electronics, under the leadership of Mutassim Daiaan, pledges its support to football enthusiasts in Bangladesh through various initiatives.
Senior officials from Hisense Corporation, including Wong Enlien Jason and Liu Jiansheng Lui, as well as Fair Group's Chief Marketing Officer Mohammed Mesbahuddin, also addressed the press conference.
They highlighted the commitment to provide top-quality Hisense AC and TV products at affordable prices alongside world-class after-sales service.
According to the press release, with a vision to replicate Hisense's global success in Bangladesh, Fair Group aims to position Hisense as the leading consumer electronics brand in the country.
