Hathurusingha responds to BCB's show-cause notice

Former Bangladesh cricket team coach Chandika Hathurusingha has responded to the letter from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) before the 48-hour deadline.

Hathurusingha confirmed this to the media on Thursday.

Earlier on Tuesday, BCB President Faruk Ahmed said in a press conference that Hathurusingha has been suspended and will also be fired from his job. During the same press conference, Faruk Ahmed also introduced Phil Simmons as the new coach for Bangladesh.

In response, Hathurusingha said these are just accusations and he might take legal action depending on what happens.

No matter what response Hathurusingha gives, the BCB has already decided to let him go. The letter is just a formality for the BCB to move forward.
