Head stars as Australia beat England to clinch series
In a thrilling conclusion to the ODI series in Bristol, Australia clinched victory over England, leading by 49 runs according to the DLS method after rain interrupted play.
Travis Head excelled with both bat and ball, taking four wickets and forming a rapid opening partnership of 78 runs with Matthew Short, who scored a blistering half-century off just 23 balls.
Australia set a strong pace during their chase, reaching 165 for 2 in 20.4 overs before rain halted play.
Earlier, Ben Duckett's century and a solid partnership with Harry Brook helped England post 300 runs, but Head's impressive bowling performance and contributions from Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell turned the tide.
With the match abandoned due to rain, Australia secured the series win. Travis Head earned the titles of both Man of the Match and Man of the Series.
