Iran attack will be met with a response: Israel army chief
Israel's army chief said that Iran will respond to drone and missile strikes inside its territory.
The world leaders urged against retaliation, trying to avoid a spiral of violence in the Middle East, reports BBC.
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a wartime cabinet meeting for the second time in less than 24 hours to decide what to do following the Iranian attack.
Iran has already said that if Israel strikes again in response to its attack, it will be retaliated more severely.
The Iranian attack on Saturday came in response to a Israeli strike two weeks earlier on an Iranian consular building in the Syrian capital of Damascus that killed seven people including a senior commander.
