Metro rail service resumes after one hour of suspension
The Metro rail service in Dhaka has resumed operations after a temporary suspension of an hour due to an electrical fault.
The train service was stopped around 7:45am and train operations resumed at 8:45am on Sunday (March 31).
Metrorail authorities said the problem was caused due to a foil paper getting stuck on the Metrorail wire during the storm. Later, the foil paper was removed from it and metro movement was normal again.
Meanwhile, being the first day of the week, metro stations are crowded. In the meantime, the waiting passengers have suffered greatly due to such a sudden problem.
