Views Bangladesh: How do you feel about receiving the Dhallywood Film and Music Award?

Orchita Sporshia: Receiving this old and prestigious award is really different. I liked the award more because I received it for the drama ‘Noor’ which is a work of great love to me. So, I am grateful.

Views Bangladesh:
What kind of response did you get for your latest work ‘Sweet Family’?

Orchita Sporshia: I received a very good response. It has received more than 10 million views. It may cross 20 million in a few days. Mushfiq and Farhan are my co-stars. We did the work with great care. The audience also appreciated it.

Views Bangladesh: When will we see you again in cinema?

Orchita Sporshia: You will see me in movie a little late. I had the shooting of a film last year, but due to the volatile situation in the country, the work has been postponed. The shooting may start this year. In that case, the movie may be released by the end of the year.

Views Bangladesh: What are your expectations about the current showbiz industry?

Orchita Sporshia: In any industry, domestic or global, there are good and bad contents. We like some of those and dislike some. However, the contents we dislike may be likeable to other viewers. Now, returning to dramas after many years, I have seen that many new faces have come into acting and production. I have read many good new stories, and there has been a lot of innovation in drama production. So, I am very optimistic about our industry. Let's see what happens in the coming days!

Views Bangladesh: Recently, Pori Moni could not inaugurate a showroom in Tangail for being a film actress. Earlier, Mehazabin Chowdhury also could not inaugurate a showroom in Chattogram for the same reason. What is your opinion regarding the issue?

Orchita Sporshia: We artists work for everyone. Everyone sees our work. But many of them prevent us from taking part in social work. This issue is very scary not only for all artists, but for everyone else. Therefore, everyone should protest. If we cannot raise our voice against this now, it may not be possible to remedy it in the future.

We artists often lack the courage to protest these issues. But Pori Moni always protests. I applaud her courage to protest.

Views Bangladesh: Do you have any new work coming up?

Orchita Sporshia: Yes, I have two dramas coming up next Valentine's Day. In one drama, 'Payel', my co-star will be Khairul Basar. The other is 'Sheshta Tumi', with co-star Mushfiq and Farhan.

Views Bangladesh:
When are you returning to the country?

Orchita Sporshia: I will return in February. I will work in two new dramas. Promotion activities and dubbing of the two dramas are also pending. I will also start working on the Eid drama.
