Taskin Ahmed paved the way for Rajshahi’s victory. He reined in Dhaka Capitals with his historic bowling in the BPL. Enamul Haque Bijoy did the rest of the batting with perfect hands. Ryan Barlow also played a crucial role in giving Durbar Rajshahi a comfortable victory. With that, Dhaka tasted two consecutive losses, Rajshahi got a big win by 7 wickets.

Both teams lost one match at the Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Dhaka was humiliated by Rangpur Riders in the opening match of the season. Rajshahi could not win despite fighting against Fortune Barishal. Enamul Bijoy did not make a mistake today. Dhaka's target of 175 runs was crossed with a lot of laughter. On the day of scoring 179 runs after losing 3 wickets, there were 11 balls left.

The toss was not on Enamul's favor on Thursday. On a day when Taskin was on a roll in bowling, Rajshahi's captain caught the limelight with the bat. He scored 73 runs before leaving the field to lead the team to victory. Enamul hit 9 fours and 3 sixes in a 46-ball innings. Zimbabwean hard-hitting batter Burl also ran riot with the captain. He also got a fifty. He played an innings of 55 runs.

However, Rajshahi's innings did not start well. Like in the first match, Zisan Alam failed today too. Before Zisan returned for a duck, Mohammad Haris was dismissed by Mustafizur Rahman in the first over. Haris scored 12 runs in 5 balls. Yasir Ali's bat, who ran riot against Barishal, did not last long either. After Yasir returned for 22 runs in 20 balls, Rajshahi made no more mistakes. Enamul and Burl put on an unbroken 106-run partnership for the rest of the way.

Taskin covered almost the entire story before the match. Sometimes he beat Dhaka's batters with speed, sometimes he hit bouncers. Sometimes he bowled yorkers and uprooted stumps. However, Taskin's cannon was on at the beginning and end. Dhaka scored runs in the rest of the time. Taskin, however, narrowly limited Dhaka, which was on the way to 200 over 150, but he took 7 wickets for 19 runs. All the others were quite expensive.

Dhaka's Shahdat Hossain Dipu was the batsman on the day that Taskin had a bright day. This young batsman spent 41 balls to make 50 runs. The second highest 46 runs of the day for Dhaka came off the bat of Stephen Iskinji, who was out for three. This foreign cricketer scored 6 fours and 2 sixes in 29 balls. None of the rest could keep the standards. Liton Das returned for a duck. Captain Perera scored 21 runs. Then Taskin fired the cannon towards the end. He became the highest wicket-taker in the BPL. Rajshahi also got an easy victory on the bright day with his bowling. Taskin's career-best bowling record of 7 wickets for 19 runs. He was named Man of the Match.
