Shilpakala Academy dazzles at 14th North America Bengali Conference
Shilpakala Academy delivered a captivating cultural performance at the 14th North America Bengali Literature and Culture Conference, held on July 27 and 28 at the Madison Theater of Molly University in New York.
On the first day of the conference, the performances featured dance choreography inspired by Syed Shamsul Haque's poem 'Amar Porichoy,' Rabindranath Tagore's 'Bipul Torongo,' and Kazi Nazrul Islam's 'Bidrohi.' Academy dancers SK Zahid and Jannatul Ferdous Lotus took part in these presentations. Additionally, poet Soumya Salek contributed to the seminar on 'Globalization Nazrul.'
On the second day, Shilpakala Academy showcased dance performances titled 'Lalon Dhyan' and 'Sohag Chand Badni Dhvani,' along with poetry readings. Liaquat Ali Lakir, the Director General of Shilpakala Academy's Program Planning and Planning Academy, attended the event. To conclude the festivities, the organizers presented certificates to the participating artists.
Eminent musicians, dancers, poets, and writers from Bangladesh participated in the two-day conference.
