Why the US election matters to the world

A story from November 4. No, it's not a surreal or magical tale; it's a true story. I entered Karwan Bazar, the largest wholesale kitchen market in the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, around noon. Along both sides of the street, a number of impoverished, underprivileged, uneducated, and working-class people were selling vegetables. I saw a man in a worn-out vest, a lungi (traditional cloth worn around the waist), and barefoot, selling red spinach and malabar spinach. Comprehensive investigations needed prior to filing cases

The origin of law, courts, and cases is to maintain law and order in society and the state. However, under the influence of powerful individuals and the negligence of law enforcement agencies, innocent and harmless individuals can sometimes become victims of harassment. A recent example is the attempted murder case against prominent Supreme Court lawyer and human rights activist ZI Khan Panna. As reported by the media on Monday (October 21), during the anti-discrimination student movement, senior Supreme Court lawyer ZI Khan Panna, who represented the students in court, has been named as an accused in an attempted murder case. The case was filed on October 17 at the Khilgaon police station in the capital, and it mentions a total of 180 accused, with ZI Khan Panna listed as number 94.

RAJUK Needs to Be More Vigilant in High-Rise Building Construction

Bangladesh is a densely populated country, with 1,140 people living per square kilometer. Cities are even more densely populated, and this is especially true for the capital city, Dhaka. Due to a lack of space, buildings are only going upwards; however, high-rise construction poses many risks from various perspectives. On the one hand, high-rise buildings are being built very close to each other in the limited space available, and on the other hand, the roads in front of many of these tall buildings are narrow. This creates a constant risk of various types of accidents. Several major accidents have already occurred, including fires and building collapses, resulting in the loss of many lives.
