Facebook launches new AI app for content creators

Facebook has launched a new app called 'Creator Studio' for iPhone and iPad users to make content creators' work easier. The app includes various AI-powered features that will help creators analyse content performance and receive advice on audience growth strategies.

Facebook announced the official launch of the app on Wednesday after several weeks of testing. One of the app's key features is the 'AI Creator Assistant', which analyses the creator's content type, audience interests and previous post performance to provide personalised recommendations.

Creators will no longer need to analyse various statistics separately to track content performance. The app will show optimal posting times, which posts are performing well and audience reactions, and this information can also be obtained by directly asking the AI assistant.

AI is also being used in comment management. The app will highlight important comments and generate potential replies, which creators can edit before posting if they wish.

Upon opening the app daily, creators will see a priority list featuring recent post performance, progress towards set goals, and comments needing responses, all in one place.

The initiative is seen as an effort to keep creators more active on Facebook amid competition from platforms like TikTok and YouTube. The new app may also reduce creators' reliance on external AI tools for content creation and analysis.

Initially, 'Creator Studio' has been made available to creators using iPhone and iPad in the US and Canada, with plans to expand to other countries in the future.
