Family, relationships, property calculations and children's sense of responsibility towards their parents — these four themes lie at the heart of the emotional drama 'Shesh Shakkhor'. The drama will be released on Friday, August 14, on the official YouTube channel of production house Cineplus.

The story has been written by R.C. Aranya, with script and direction by Samrat Chowdhury. The drama portrays a realistic picture of family relationships, responsibility, financial crises and a child's mindset regarding inheritance.

The story revolves around Jafar and his wife Masuma. As they approach the end of their lives, they hope for love and companionship from their children, but gradually, calculations of property and money creep into their relationships. Through their children's various conversations and decisions, Jafar begins to realise that the bond between parents and children can also become trapped in the division of property.

For Jafar, the ancestral home is not merely a property. It holds his childhood, memories of his parents, and countless emotional moments spent with his wife Masuma. The decision to sell the house becomes extremely difficult for him. Meanwhile, differences arise among the children over family needs and the property sale.

'Shesh Shakkhor' essentially raises a question: can parental love ever be divided like property?

The makers hope that the drama, blending family emotions and social realities, will touch the audience's hearts and make them think anew about parent-child relationships and responsibility.

The cast includes Sayem Samad, Sheikh Swapna, Hossain Nirob, Nasrin Anu, Seljuk Twarik, Khan Roshni and many others.

The drama has been produced by Cineplus Studio. It will be aired on the official YouTube channel of Cineplus Studio on August 14 at 3pm. YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@cineplusbd
