Fans bring out procession demanding Shakib Al Hasan's retutn

The fans of Shakib Al Hasan have gathered at the Shahid Chandu Stadium in Bogura demanding the return of the world's best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.

Shakib's supporters held a procession and protest programme in the gallery during the BCL ODI tournament match between East and Central Zone held at the stadium on Thursday (February 26).

The fans raised their demands by holding up posters with Shakib's picture and placards reading 'I want Shakib back'.

The fans claim that it is unacceptable to not give a legendary cricketer like Shakib a chance to play due to political reasons.

They said that for the last 17 years, Shakib has represented Bangladesh cricket and brought the country to the world court. They think it is completely unfair to keep him off the field due to political issues.

The fans also said that they want to see Shakib in the national team in the upcoming series against Pakistan. It is worth noting that the three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and Pakistan is scheduled to be held on March 11, 13 and 15.
