Farida Parveen’s condition critical; medical board formed

Renowned Lalon singer Farida Parveen’s health has deteriorated significantly, prompting doctors to place her back on life support two days ago. Her son confirmed that her condition has worsened and described the situation as critical.

On Saturday (September 13), Farida Parveen’s son informed the media that his mother’s health was rapidly declining. “Her condition is critical, and the situation is alarming,” he said.

Medical reports reveal that Farida Parveen’s kidneys and brain have ceased functioning, and she is facing severe lung complications. Additionally, her heart is experiencing irregular beats, and a widespread blood infection has spread throughout her body. Due to low blood pressure, dialysis cannot be performed at this time.

A six-member medical board has been formed to oversee her continuous treatment. She is currently under close observation for 72 hours, after which the medical team will assess the direction of her condition.

Farida Parveen has long been battling kidney complications and requires dialysis twice a week. On September 2, she was admitted to Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali for dialysis.
