In a heart-wrenching tragedy, a man and his two children lost their lives after jumping from the seventh floor of a residential building engulfed in flames in Delhi’s Dwarka Sector-13.

The fire broke out at Shabd Apartments, prompting the deployment of eight fire engines to the scene. The blaze quickly spread across an entire floor, trapping several residents inside.

In a desperate attempt to escape the fire, the man and his children jumped from the upper floor. The children were pronounced dead shortly after the fall, while the father also succumbed to injuries.

Authorities suspect that two to three more people may still be trapped inside the building. Emergency services, including police and fire personnel, remain on-site as rescue operations continue.

The incident caused panic among residents, leading to the rapid evacuation of the apartment complex. However, fears persist that the fire may spread to adjacent buildings, putting more lives and homes at risk.

Residents are also concerned about the loss of personal belongings as the fire continues to spread across other floors.
