Film Producer Kamal Parvez passes away

Veteran freedom fighter, film producer, and actor Kamal Parvez passed away early Saturday morning (November 22) at a private hospital in Dhaka. He was 72 years old.

Kamal Parvez was the brother of actors Sohel Rana and Rubel.

The news of his death was confirmed by Mashroor Parvez, son of Sohel Rana. Kamal Parvez is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter, and other relatives.

He had been seriously ill for some time and was admitted to the ICU before being placed on life support, where he later died.

His funeral prayers will be held after Zuhr prayer at Uttara 5 No. Sector Jam-e-Masjid, followed by burial at Mirpur Shahid Buddhijibi Graveyard.

Kamal Parvez produced several films, including 'Bishwapremik', 'Birpurush', 'Ami Shahenshah', 'Khuner Porinam', and 'Chardike Andhokar'. In the film 'Birpurush', he acted alongside his brothers Sohel Rana and Rubel.
