A fire broke out in an 11-storey building on Road No. 12 in Banani in the capital. The fire broke out around 6:30pm on Wednesday. However, the cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed. The fire service quickly reached the spot after receiving the information. Initially, two units started working, but considering the situation, three more units were added. Currently, a total of five units are working to control the fire. Although panic has spread in the surrounding areas, no casualties were initially reported.

রাজধানীর বনানীর ১২ নম্বর সড়কের একটি ১১তলা ভবনে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। বুধবার সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে ৬টার দিকে এ আগুনের সূত্রপাত হয়। তবে আগুন লাগার কারণ এখনো নিশ্চিত হওয়া যায়নি। খবর পেয়ে দ্রুত ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় ফায়ার সার্ভিস। প্রথমে দুটি ইউনিট কাজ শুরু করলেও পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় আরও তিনটি ইউনিট যুক্ত করা হয়। বর্তমানে মোট পাঁচটি ইউনিট আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে কাজ করছে। আশপাশের এলাকায় আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়ে পড়লেও প্রাথমিকভাবে কোনো হতাহতের খবর পাওয়া যায়নি।
