Fire engulfs residential building in Chawkbazar

A fire erupted in a residential building at Rahmatganj Dalpatti area of Chawkbazar in Dhaka.

The blaze started at this afternoon, confirmed Fire Service Media Officer Anwarul Islam.

Four units from Lalbagh Fire Station are currently working to control the blaze, while three more units have been dispatched for assistance, he said.

No casualties have been reported yet from the fire, he added.
