Fire engulfs top floor of Petronas Tower 3 in Kuala Lumpur
A devastating fire broke out on the top floor of Petronas Tower 3 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Saturday morning (November 1).
According to the local media, the blaze reportedly started in a restaurant of the tower.
However, no casualties have been reported yet.
Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department Director and Senior Assistant Commissioner Hasan Asari Omar confirmed the incident, adding that fire personnel are on-site extinguishing the flames.
Images circulating on social media show black smoke rising from the high-rise.
Petronas Tower 3, locally known as Menara Carigali, is a 60-storey building near the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and is one of Kuala Lumpur’s key landmarks.
