First movie of the year 'Madhyabitta' released

The first movie of the year 'Madhyabitta' tells the story of the lives of members of an ordinary family.

The movie, which has been released in 13 theaters across the country on Friday (January 3), is directed by Tanvir Hasan.

The director said in Dhaka, the movie is being screened at Star Cineplex at Bashundhara City Mall, Blockbuster Cinemas, Lion Cinema and Magic Movie Theater in Uttara. “And outside Dhaka, viewers will be able to see 'Madhyabitta' at Grand River View in Rajshahi, Banalata Cinema in Faridpur, Purabi Cinema in Mymensingh, Modern Cinema in Dinajpur, Nasib Cinema in Sapahar, Raj Cinema in Kuliarchar, Chalantika Cinema in Gopaldi, Sonali Cinema in Tekerhat and Madhavi Cineplex in Madhupur.”

Asked about the audience's reaction, director Tanvir Hasan told Views Bangladesh that the response received from the audience is more than expected. Many cinema halls were even full of viewers. Especially Mymensingh's Purabi Cinema Hall was housefull in the afternoon.

The film stars Shishir Sardar, Elina Shammi, Omar Malik, Maisha Prabhu, Masum Aziz, Rebecca Rouf, Samu Chowdhury, Saberi Alam and many others.
