Foreign Minister departs for visit three-nation

Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman has left Dhaka on Wednesday for an official visit to Turkey, Belgium and Ethiopia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

During the tour, he is scheduled to participate in a series of international engagements and diplomatic events.

According to the ministry, the Foreign Minister will first attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey from April 17 to 19, where global leaders and policymakers will discuss key international and regional issues.

Following the visit to Turkey, he will travel to Brussels, Belgium, to attend the signing ceremony of the “Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation” between Bangladesh and the European Union.

On his return journey, Dr. Khalilur Rahman is expected to make a stopover in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The ministry said the Foreign Minister is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on April 24.
