Although everyone in her family is a doctor, Fariha Jaman from Rangpur was drawn to fashion from an early age. That interest led her to change her academic path.

After completing her studies at Cantonment Public School and College, she is currently pursuing an honours degree in Fashion Design at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology. Her dream was to establish her own fashion house. However, unexpectedly during her studies, she stepped into the world of brand promotion.

Fariha shared that during university, she did her first photoshoot for a friend's family fashion house. The photos received a good response, marking the beginning of her journey. She officially started working through that brand.

Although the beginning seemed easy, she realised over time that the path was not smooth at all. Starting work in the industry at a young age meant facing high competition, with many experienced and established figures around. Nevertheless, Fariha decided to present herself positively rather than resorting to negative propaganda.
According to her, a brand promoter's primary responsibility is to accurately present the brand's message and build trust with the audience. Content must be attractive, yet truthful. Her first major campaign experience was a mix of excitement and anxiety. However, the positive response after completing the work boosted her confidence further.

She sees social media as the main platform for her work. It allows direct communication with the audience, understanding trends, and creating engagement. When choosing brands, she prioritises credibility, product quality, and alignment with her own values.
Fariha mentioned facing some challenges as a woman—sometimes undervaluation, sometimes unwanted comments. She has navigated these with confidence and a professional attitude. She views criticism as an opportunity to learn, accepts constructive feedback, and avoids unnecessary negativity.
She considers consistency and honesty as the biggest lessons from this journey. In her words, success does not come through shortcuts; time and patience are the real keys. In the future, she sees herself not just as a brand promoter but as an established brand consultant.

She also dreams of working internationally. Additionally, she plans to start her own brand or venture that will reflect her personality and vision.

For those aspiring to enter this profession, Fariha's advice is to build one's skills first. One must work regularly, stay aware of trends, but not lose individuality. She believes that with patience and hard work, success will come one day.
