Gas supply will be suspended for 10 hours in several areas of Dhaka on Thursday

Gas supply will remain suspended for 10 hours in several areas of Dhaka tomorrow due to emergency repairs to a gas pipeline, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited said.

According to a notice issued by Titas Gas, the disruption will continue from 10:00am to 8:00pm.

The affected areas include Agargaon, western parts of Taltola, Sheorapara, Kazipara, Mirpur-10, Mirpur-1, Paikpara, Kallyanpur, Shyamoli, Mirpur 60 Feet and Pirerbag, reports local media.

The suspension will affect residential, commercial and compressed natural gas (CNG) customers in these areas.

Titas Gas said consumers in adjoining areas may also experience low gas pressure during the repair work.

The utility expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.
