Hamza Choudhury joins Bangladesh team

Bangladesh will begin their ASEAN Cup campaign with a match against Malaysia on September 25. Bangladesh's other two opponents in Group 'A' are hosts Indonesia and Singapore. Bangladesh will play Singapore on September 28 and Indonesia on October 1. All three matches will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.

Three expatriate footballers, Farhan Ali Wahid, Zidan Alexander Yusuf and Shuki Itfusa, have made the Bangladesh 23-member squad for the first time. Along with them, Hamza's presence is expected to strengthen the team's midfield and attack.
