Hyundai unveils Creta Facelift 2026 in Bangladesh

Hyundai has officially launched the Creta Facelift 2026 in Bangladesh at an event held at the Hyundai Experience Centre in the capital's Tejgaon.

The launch was unveiled by former Bangladesh national cricket team captain Mushfiqur Rahim.

The event was presided over by Mutassim Daiaan, Director and CEO of Fair Technology Ltd., who highlighted the key customer-focused features of the new model.

The Hyundai Creta, already one of the most popular SUVs in Bangladesh, continues to maintain a strong presence on local roads. The updated 2026 facelift version introduces a refreshed exterior design, including a redesigned front grille, signature LED daytime running lights, new rear lighting elements and dynamic side accents.

Inside, the vehicle features a fully integrated futuristic dashboard, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, upgraded infotainment system with wireless connectivity, and premium comfort features such as a panoramic sunroof and leather upholstery. The model also comes equipped with a rear-view monitor and six airbags for enhanced safety.

The five-seater SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), designed to deliver improved fuel efficiency for both city and highway driving.

The Creta Facelift 2026 will be available in five colour options: Titan Grey, Creamy White Pearl, Dragon Red, Midnight Clear Pearl and Midnight Black Pearl. A factory-fitted LPG variant will also be offered as a more economical option for customers.

The price has been set at BDT 4.1 million, along with a 5-year warranty, 2 years of free service, and up to 70 per cent buyback support, positioning it as a value-added offering in its segment.

Officials from Fair Technology Ltd. also attended the event, including J M Taslim Kabir, Head of Marketing; Md Ataur Rahman, Senior Manager, Sales Operations; and Md Rubaiyat Uddin, Manager, Product and Supply Chain.

Hyundai has also recently introduced its next-generation hybrid lineup, including the Santa Fe, and reiterated its commitment to bringing advanced automotive technologies to the Bangladeshi market.
