India, Australia and Pakistan set to tour Bangladesh
Bangladesh cricket is set for a busy year in 2026, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board planning to host five bilateral series at home as part of a packed international calendar. Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia, India and the West Indies will tour Bangladesh during the year.
According to the official 2026 schedule released by the BCB, Pakistan will visit Bangladesh in March to play a one-day international series following the T20 World Cup. Due to the Pakistan Super League schedule, the tour will be held in two phases. Pakistan will return home after completing a three-match ODI series in March and will come back in May to play two Test matches as part of the ICC World Test Championship.
Between Pakistan’s two visits, New Zealand will tour Bangladesh in April–May for a full bilateral series. Australia will then arrive in June to play ODI and T20 international matches in Dhaka.
Soon after the Australia series, India are scheduled to tour Bangladesh in the final week of August. With the World Cup approaching, the series is expected to feature star players such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Bangladesh will conclude the year with Test cricket, as the West Indies are set to tour in October to play two Test matches.
Outside the national team fixtures, Sri Lanka A will also tour Bangladesh in May. The visiting side will play two four-day matches and three one-day matches. The venues for these series have not yet been finalised by the BCB.
