Indian parliament tabled condolence motion on Khaleda Zia’s death
A condolence motion was tabled in India’s upper house of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha, following the death of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
The motion was presented on Wednesday (January 28).
The motion also expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of two former Rajya Sabha members, L. Ganesan and Suresh Kalnadi.
It highlighted the political and social contributions of the departed leaders, prayed for their souls’ peace, and conveyed condolences to their bereaved families.
