Indian visa centres to remain closed for 4 days during Eid
All Indian Visa Application Centres (IVACs) in Bangladesh will remain closed from May 27 to May 30 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. Visa operations will resume on May 31.
A notice published on the IVAC website on Sunday, May 24, stated that all visa application centres will remain closed on May 27 and May 28 due to the government holiday declared for Eid-ul-Azha. However, passport delivery services will remain available on May 27, though no new visa applications will be accepted on that day.
Additionally, the centres will remain closed on May 29 and May 30 due to weekly holidays (Friday and Saturday).
Aspiring travellers to India have been advised to plan their applications and passport collection accordingly.
